- Dr. Vilsack graduated cum laude from Boston University, continuing on to the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University and receiving her Doctor of Optometry degree, graduating with honors. She received numerous accolades during her academic career, including the E.F. Wildermuth Scholarship and Pennsylvania College of Optometry Academic Awards.
Dr. Vilsack has been practicing primary eye care since her graduation in 1997. She is skilled in pediatric care, vision therapy, vision rehabilitation, as well as the treatment and management of ocular disease. She is also an eye care consultant to many local nursing homes.
Dr. Vilsack has lived in the Murrysville community for over 18 years, and she enjoys helping with many school and community activities. In her free time, Dr. Vilsack enjoys traveling with her husband and beautiful daughter to visit her son at college. They are looking forward to becoming empty nesters in the next year. Other hobbies include reading and walking.
